Ann Combs

Ann Combs has extensive experience in corporate strategy, innovation, and government relations. At Vanguard, where Combs served from February 2007 until retirement, Combs held the positions of Principal, Head of Corporate Strategy & Innovation, and Principal, Head of Government Relations. Prior to Vanguard, Combs was the Assistant Secretary for Employee Benefits Security at the U.S. Department of Labor from May 2000 to October 2006. Combs holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from The George Washington University Law School.
