Jacob Mortensen

Jacob Mortensen is an experienced professional currently serving as a Customer Service Team Lead and Retirement Sales Consultant at Vanguard since January 2018, where a consultative approach is utilized to help self-employed individuals and small businesses identify suitable retirement plans. Jacob also plays a role in assisting retirement plan sponsors and participants with asset consolidation. Prior experience includes positions as a Client Relationship and Investment Professional, and Vice President - Finance Advisor at the Middle East Studies and Arabic Student Association at Brigham Young University. Jacob’s background in technology support was developed as a Media Services Specialist at the BYU Office of Information Technology, focusing on classroom technology issues and customer communication. Jacob holds a Bachelor's Degree in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic Language with a Global Business Minor from Brigham Young University and a High School Diploma from the American International School - Riyadh.
