Mateo Suburú

Mateo Suburú is an experienced technology professional with a focus on software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at both Vangwe since October 2020 and CajaLegado since January 2023, Mateo's prior role as Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at WyeWorks involved transitioning towards leadership while specializing in Ruby on Rails. At WyeWorks, Mateo contributed as a full stack engineer for US companies, gaining extensive knowledge of software engineering best practices. Earlier experience includes leading a software engineering team at HandSoft S.A. and working on hybrid mobile applications. Mateo holds a degree in Computer Engineering from Facultad de Ingeniería - UdelaR and has participated in various educational programs, including an exchange at The Bear Creek School and a proficiency certification from the University of Cambridge.
