Sophie Kightley

Sophie Kightley is an accomplished Senior Designer at Vanilla Underground since June 2022, leading the design of DTR products across apparel and accessories while managing a design team and overseeing license approvals throughout the product lifecycle. Previously, Sophie served as Licensed Design Manager and Head of Ladieswear at NJ Screen Prints, where responsibilities included overseeing licensed design development, organizing team workloads, and conducting trend presentations. Sophie's extensive experience also includes a Senior Designer role at Global Brands Group, where key licenses were managed and training on internal systems was delivered, and earlier positions as a Designer and Assistant Designer focused on market-specific collections and jewellery design. Sophie holds a BA (Hons) in Fashion Knitwear Design from Nottingham Trent University and a CMI Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship in People Leadership.
