Joana Liu has a diverse work experience in the field of design. In 2019, they worked as a Design Intern at Kendall + Kylie, where they gained experience in the industry. Joana continued with their design journey at Cosology, where they worked as a Designer for a start-up cosmetic line. In this role, they were responsible for packaging design and provided technical solutions.
In 2018, Joana worked at the Parsons School of Design - The New School as a Student Staff member until 2020, demonstrating their commitment to their education and involvement in the design community.
Joana then joined NXTFactor in 2020, where they served as a Design Consultant and Graphic Designer. Joana later transitioned into a Design Internship role at the same company. Their time at NXTFactor provided their with valuable experience and enhanced their design skills.
Joana also gained relevant experience at Bhavana, where they started as a Graphic Design Intern before transitioning into a Graphic Design Assistant role. Their time at Bhavana lasted from 2020 to 2021.
Currently, Joana Liu is employed as an Industrial Designer at VanMoof, starting in November 2021. It is evident from their work experience that Joana is dedicated to their craft and continues to grow professionally in the design field.
Joana Liu pursued their education at Parsons School of Design - The New School from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Product Design. As part of their academic journey, they also had the opportunity to study abroad at Chiba University in 2019, where they further enhanced their knowledge in Industrial and Product Design as an exchange student. In 2018, Joana attended Sophia University for a Summer Intensive program, focusing on Language Courses. In addition to their formal education, Joana obtained a certification for "Japanese Books: From Manuscript to Print" from HarvardX - An Online Learning Initiative by Harvard University through edX in December 2020.
