Nico Chuan

Nico Chuan's work experience begins with their role as an Accounting Specialist at VanMoof, starting in May 2022. In this position, they performed VAT filing and tax reconciliation, built and maintained an employee reimbursement automation process using Expensify, and were responsible for creating accounts receivable and issuing invoices.

Prior to their role at VanMoof, Nico worked at EY as a Tax Associate from September 2020 to March 2022. In this role, they were responsible for filing individual income tax for over 150 expatriates, providing tax advisory services and share-based compensation calculation for multinational companies, conducting tax cost estimation and tax equalization calculation, and applying for labor insurance certificates for outbound expatriates.

Nico Chuan obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Finance from National Taipei University. Prior to that, Nico pursued a Bachelor's degree in Korean Studies from the University of Foreign Languages in Mandalay, Myanmar.
