Robert Chang

Robert Chang has worked in the IT industry since 2005. Robert began their career at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Consultant, where they were responsible for monitoring and maintaining development and production servers for software development teams. In 2014, they joined the University of Virginia as an Enterprise Systems Support Engineer, where they created, maintained, and regularly contributed to a library of scripts. Robert was also the project lead for the E-mail Migration to the Cloud and the technical lead for the Migration to UVA Office365. In 2022, Robert Chang joined Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. as a Senior Systems Engineer, where they were primarily responsible for the creation of PowerShell automation to streamline IAM operations. Robert also joined DTE Energy as a Site Reliability Engineer, where they were responsible for the development of support frameworks for products created by the Digital Factory. Robert Chang is currently employed at Vantaca as a Senior DevOps Engineer.

Robert Chang obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Virginia Tech between 2001 and 2005. In 2019, they obtained the GIAC Advisory Board and GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC) from GIAC Certifications. In 2020, they obtained the Azure Infrastructure Fundamentals Certified from Skill Me UP. Robert is also Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, obtained in March 2022. Lastly, they are currently pursuing the (ISC)2 Security CISSP (ISC2-CISSP) from (ISC)².
