Sunny Douglas Pal

Sunny Douglas Pal has extensive experience in the finance industry, starting in 2003 with an analyst position at Goldman Sachs. Sunny Douglas then worked as a credit broker at Eiger Securities LLP before joining Vantage Capital Markets in 2009 as the Head of European Credit. Sunny Douglas successfully built this unit from scratch, specializing in trading in stressed and illiquid European corporate and sovereign fixed income. Starting in 2017, they served as the Head of Asian Credit and Responsible Officer at Vantage Capital Markets HK, where they established the Asian Credit Desk and developed the cross-border business with the European office. In 2019, Sunny became the Co-Head of Asian Credit at TP ICAP before joining Vantage Capital Markets again in 2020 as the Global Head of Credit. In this current role, they have overseen the expansion of trading counterparties, negotiated joint venture collaborations, and implemented a successful repo operation. Throughout their career, Sunny has consistently grown revenues and managed multinational teams across various locations.

Sunny Douglas Pal's education history began in 1992 when they attended Boroughmuir High School in Edinburgh, Scotland, where they completed their Scottish Highers from 1992 to 1996. In 2001, Sunny enrolled at Queen Mary University of London and earned a BA (Hons) degree in Political Science between 2001 and 2003. They then participated in an exchange program with the University of London at the University of South Florida in 2002, studying Politics & International Relations with a focus on International Terrorism. In 2015 and 2016, Sunny attended Technological University Dublin, completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Digital Technology, Design & Innovation from the Digital Skills Academy's Digital Business Managers & Marketers stream.
