Barbara Jones

Barbara Jones is a dedicated social worker with extensive experience across various roles in community and child welfare. Currently serving as a social worker at Vantage Living Inc. since March 2020 and as a Communities That Care Facilitator for the Social Planning Council of Williams Lake since January 2019, Barbara contributes to initiatives supporting child health and poverty reduction. Previous roles include managing the Pregnancy Outreach Program at Cariboo Friendship Society, where Barbara ensured client care aligned with service agreements, and performing child protection work with the Fraser Valley Aboriginal Children & Family Services Society and the Ministry of Children & Family Development. Barbara holds a Master's degree in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Thompson Rivers University.
