Vladas Oleinikovas

Vladas Oleinikovas is a seasoned professional in computational chemistry with experience in various roles within the pharmaceutical industry and academia. Currently serving as the Director of Computational Chemistry at VantAI since March 2024, Oleinikovas previously held the position of Senior Scientist II at Monte Rosa Therapeutics, where the focus was on computational drug design and the development of AI/ML molecular glue platforms. Notably, Oleinikovas acted as the Head of Computer-Aided Drug Design (CADD) and led projects for the discovery of molecular glue degraders. An academic tenure included a role as Associate Professor at Vilnius University, teaching a course on in silico drug development methods. Earlier positions covered contributions to UCB in developing technologies for targeted protein degradation and conducting doctoral research at University College London, with collaboration at Yale University. Oleinikovas holds a PhD in Chemistry from UCL and a Master's and Bachelor's degree from the University of Cambridge.
