Justin Pfeifer

An accomplished design leader, Justin Pfeifer has over a decade of experience shaping and leading large-scale design initiatives across multiple industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Product Design at VANTIQ in Walnut Creek, CA, Justin Pfeifer drives customer engagement and fosters a design-driven culture while spearheading strategic decision-making and visionary design initiatives. A champion of communications excellence and collaboration, he was instrumental in testing and prototyping innovative products.

Prior to VANTIQ, Justin Pfeifer held significant leadership roles at Ping Identity in both San Francisco, CA and Denver, CO, offices where they served as Senior Director of User Experience, Design, and Front-End Development from April 2017 to April 2022. He managed a team of over 30 designers, researchers, and developers, executing major initiatives to create a unified cloud experience. Notably, he led full-cycle rebranding efforts, developed a scalable component library, and ensured brand consistency across marketing and UI/UX projects.

From 2013 to 2017, Justin Pfeifer was Director of User Experience, Design, and Front-End Development at Ping Identity, where he built the product UX team from the ground up, led international collaborations, and established a global UX practice focused on user-centered design.

In addition to his corporate roles, Justin Pfeifer taught at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, mentoring senior-level students in starting and completing their digital senior projects. His expertise extends to his time at Western Union, where he helped redefine the company's digital experience and led global product development and design across digital platforms.

Justin Pfeifer attended Academy of Art University from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in New Media Design.
