Deny Barilea

Deny Barilea has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Currently, they are working as the Director of Engineering at Vapotherm, starting in December 2022. Previously, they held various positions at Hillrom from 2008 to 2022, including Director, Engineering, R&D; Principal Engineer; and R&D Manager. At Hillrom, they were involved in new product development, mechanical design, and ensuring the delivery of reliable products. Before that, Deny worked as a Senior Hardware Engineer at Lexmark Research & Development Corp from 2004 to 2008, and as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Nicera Philippines Inc. from 2001 to 2004. Prior to that, they were a Resident Engineer at Thomson Audio Philippines from 1998 to 1999, and a Product Engineer at Universal Motors Corporation (Nissan) from 1996 to 1998.

Deny Barilea obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colegio San Agustin, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, they pursued computer engineering at Don Bosco Technical College, completing units in the field.
