Alain Doumit

Alain Doumit has had a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alain is currently working at Vår Energi as a Corporate Strategy member since November 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Drilling Safety & Sustainability Manager at the same company from March 2020 to November 2022. Alain also worked at Lloyd's Register as an Avdelingsleder / Department Manager in the Management Consulting Group from April 2014 to March 2020. Before that, they were an HSE Advisor - Operation at Saipem from February 2010 to April 2014. Alain also gained experience in project management at Bergen kommune as a Project Manager in the Department of Urban development, Value Creation, and Climate from July 2009 to January 2010. In addition, Alain worked at Earthtime Group as a Projects Manager from March 2007 to June 2009 and at ELARD as a Projects Consultant from July 2003 to February 2007.

Alain Doumit has a Master's degree in Research in Geography and land use management, which they obtained from Saint Joseph University/ Université de Pau in the years 2004 to 2007. Later, from 2014 to 2017, they attended BI Norwegian Business School, where they pursued an Executive Master of Management with a focus on Green Growth, International Management, and Corporate Communication. Currently, they are enrolled in an Executive study program at Nord University, specializing in Circular Economy, with an expected completion date in 2022.
