Abel Frías

Abel Frías has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Abel currently works as a Full Stack Engineer at Varda - Field Data Exchange, where they are responsible for creating a responsive and multilingual Front-end project for the visualization of agricultural fields on an interactive map. In addition, they develop new functionalities for a REST API using Python, Flask, and PostgreSQL.

Before joining Varda, Abel worked at the Cartography Service at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid as a Full Stack Developer. Abel led the development and maintenance of a cartographic data visualization website and used various technologies for platform development.

Abel also gained experience at Ibermática, where they worked as a Full Stack & Scripting Developer. Abel served as the Technical Lead of an Agile team and developed automation scripts in Python for data fixing/loading. Abel also implemented front-end features using JavaScript and React.

Additionally, Abel worked as a Full Stack Developer at Lázzaro, a role in which they led and developed several projects for an insurance brokerage company. Abel designed and created data models in relational databases and utilized various technologies for application development.

Abel's experience also includes working at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid as an E-Learning platform creator. Abel was responsible for creating and maintaining an e-learning platform used by teachers for IT degrees. Abel also led the development and architecture creation strategy.

Furthermore, Abel has experience as a programming teacher, teaching Python and providing private C programming lessons to university students.

Lastly, Abel worked at Indra as a Back-end & Scripting Developer. Abel led a Smart Cities project and developed a platform for waste collection management. Abel also created data-processing and data-loading scripts using Python and developed back-end microservices using Java and SpringBoot.
