Adam Knighton

Adam Knighton has a strong background in supply chain management and procurement. Adam started their career as an Operations Manager at TransEra Corporation, where they managed a production area and staff, as well as handled purchasing and budgeting. Adam then worked at Legrand Home Systems as a Buyer/Planner, sourcing audio/video equipment, system interfaces, and custom metal and plastic parts. At Varian Medical Systems, they held the role of Global Commodity Manager and Senior Buyer, responsible for negotiating with suppliers for various commodities. Currently, they are working at Varex Imaging Corporation as a Strategic Sourcing Leader, focusing on market logistics, planning, and implementation. Adam works closely with suppliers to negotiate the best value in cost while ensuring high quality and delivery.

Adam Knighton attended Weber State University from 1994 to 2000, where they studied Business Administration with a focus on Logistics and Operations Management. Adam obtained a degree in this field. Additionally, Adam has obtained certifications in the field of logistics and operations management. In October 2016, they became certified in Logistics, Transportation, and Distribution (CLTD) through APICS (the Association for Supply Chain Management). In April 2021, Adam obtained another certification, Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), also from APICS.
