Cyrill Aschenbrenner

Cyrill Aschenbrenner has extensive work experience in the medical imaging industry. Cyrill is currently the Director of Medical Sales EMEIA at Varex Imaging Corporation, where they manage a sales team that specializes in OEM and Aftermarket sales of medical products. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Cy-Consult.

Before joining Varex Imaging Corporation and Cy-Consult, Cyrill held several management positions at Carestream. Cyrill served as the Director of Strategic Marketing - EMEAR, where they were responsible for business development, product management, and pricing of film, print, and imaging solutions. Cyrill also worked as the Regional Business Director for EMEA, overseeing products and solutions, as well as CT and X-ray solutions. Additionally, they served as the Regional Business Manager for Europe, focusing on X-ray solutions.

Earlier in their career, Cyrill worked at GE Healthcare as a Modality Manager for X-ray, Interventional & Surgery, and as a Marketing Manager for Surgery. Cyrill also gained experience at OEC Medical Systems as a Sales Support & Marketing Manager EMEA and as a Technical Support Engineer. Before that, they worked at Hughes Avicom Int'l as a Base Supervisor and at Tektronix as a Test & Measurement Service Technician.

Cyrill Aschenbrenner holds a Master's degree in Marketing, which they obtained from GSBA between the years 2000 and 2004. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) at the Oekreal School of Business from 1998 to 2000. Their educational journey began earlier, from 1987 to 1991, at John Lay Electronics, where they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Audio- & Video Electronics. In addition to their formal education, Cyrill has obtained several certifications, including "Body Language for Leaders," "Executive Presence on Video Conference Calls," "Aligning Sales and Marketing," "Empathy at Work," "Becoming Head of Sales: Developing Your Playbook," "Selling with Empathy during Uncertain Times," and "Managing New Managers." These certifications were obtained from various institutions, namely LinkedIn, with the most recent one obtained in March 2021 and the earliest acquired in October 2020.
