Grant Gerringer

Grant Gerringer has over 30 years of experience in the field of imaging technology. Currently serving as a Research Scientist at Varex Imaging Corporation since August 1999, Grant is involved in research and development as well as failure analysis support for engineering and production, with a specific focus on x-ray tubes, digital radiography flat panel detectors, and related components. This role includes providing materials lab analysis using techniques such as scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy. Prior to this position, Grant worked as a Senior Field Service Engineer at Amray Inc. from January 1985 to August 1999, where responsibilities included the repair, service, and installation of scanning electron microscopes.
