Raj Venkatachalam

Raj Venkatachalam has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Raj currently holds the position of Senior Systems Engineering Manager at Varex Imaging Corporation since May 2023. Prior to this, they were a Systems Engineering Manager at the same company starting from October 2021. Raj also served as a Senior Systems Engineer at Varex Imaging Corporation from April 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining Varex Imaging Corporation, Raj worked at Oceaneering as a Product Development Manager - Technology from May 2017 to April 2019. During their time there, they were responsible for supporting the development of new tools and service lines for the company's subsea asset inspection business. Raj also played a crucial role as the technical lead for all subsea inspection tools, including Digital Radiography, Electro Magnetic Acoustic Transducer, Ultrasound, and Visual Methods. Additionally, Raj contributed to the development of new subsea inspection solutions for clients such as BP, Shell, MarathonOil, etc.

Raj's earlier experience includes various roles at GE. Raj held the position of Senior Engineer from September 2014 to November 2015. At GE Inspection Technologies, they served as a Lead Engineer from January 2008 to August 2014. Prior to that, Raj worked as a Research Engineer at GE Global Research Center from February 2004 to December 2007.

Raj Venkatachalam pursued their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from the University of Madras from 1996 to 2000. Following this, they went on to complete their MASc degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo between 2001 and 2003.
