Henk Smid

Henk Smid is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in supervisory and leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving on the Supervisory Board at AME (Applied Micro Electronics) and Variass since January 2024 and July 1989 respectively, Henk Smid has also held the position of CEO at Variass, specializing in customer-oriented solutions in accelerator development and production. Additional roles include Treasurer of ICD Innovatie Cluster since April 2014, which focuses on innovation within a collaborative ecosystem, a board member of FME Noord until December 2022, and board member of Innovatiewerkplaats Zuid - Oost Groningen from November 2019 to December 2021, emphasizing regional economic development.
