Matt Kay FRSA has a rich and diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Matt has held various creative roles in different companies and organizations. In their most recent position as the Visual Experience Director at Sciterion, Matt is responsible for creating engaging branding and content across all media for virtual, hybrid, and in-person experiences. Prior to this, they founded MKA Creative and served as the Creative Director, wearing different hats for various clients and showcasing their skills in 3D visualization, creative animation, branding, and editorial illustration. Matt also worked as the Creative Director at Vario Productions, leading the creative innovation team in live, hybrid, and virtual event branding and experiential design. Matt has held leadership positions such as the Associate Creative Director at ITECHOHealth and served on the Board of Advisors at mHealth Futures. Matt has also made valuable contributions as Director of Armadillo Foundation CIC, where they provided creative solutions through collaborations with charities, NGO's, funding bodies, and think tanks. Additionally, they served as the Creative Director at Armadillo Group and as Director of Piction Media (KDimension Ltd), where they delivered visual and content media for global clients. Early in their career, Matt co-founded CDC: Consortium Design for Charities and established their own design solutions company, Matt Kay Image Design Solutions.
Matt Kay FRSA obtained a BA(hons) degree in Graphic Design Illustration from De Montfort University, where they studied from 1990 to 1993. Prior to that, they completed their ND degree in Art & Design / Foundation Studies at Doncaster Art College from 1988 to 1990. In 2021, they obtained a Role Certification Content Owner from SpotMe.
