Max Kanter

Max Kanter has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Max is currently working as the Sr. Principal Product Architect/Sr. Director for Emerging Business Platform at Varis since September 2020. Prior to this, they held various positions at Amazon, starting as a Unix Systems Administrator at Harris Controls in 1995, and later progressing to become a Software Development Manager at Amazon from 2007 to 2008. Max also worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at General Electric Healthcare from 2001 to 2005 and as a Business Systems Engineer at General Electric-Harris Railway Electronics from 1997 to 1999. Additionally, Max had their own LLC called Net One Communications from 1996 to 1997, where they worked as an Owner/Software Engineer. Throughout their career, Max has gained expertise in technical program management, user experience, product design, and technical architecture.

Max Kanter obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Florida Institute of Technology, starting in 1993 and completing in 1999. Additionally, Max has obtained the AnitaB.org Mentor Badge certification in November 2022, and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification for which no institution or specific date is provided.
