Nimit V. is a dedicated research professional and advocate with extensive experience in neuroscience and community service. Currently serving as a Research Assistant at Krembil Research Institute, Nimit focuses on prion disease and Alzheimer’s disease. Nimit also contributes as a Staff Writer for Varsity Publications Inc. and is a Co-Founder of Blankets for T.O., which supports the homeless in Toronto by providing essential supplies and advocating for their welfare. Additionally, Nimit has held roles on the Advisory Council for the Scarborough-Rouge Park Constituency Youth Council and as a Research Intern at the Canadian Centre for Cannabis & Cognitive Function. Nimit's commitment to education and mentorship is further demonstrated through initiatives with NeurotechUofT and previous leadership as Co-President at Woburn Robotics. Nimit is pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of Toronto after completing a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Psychology.
