Ed Spiegel

Ed Spiegel is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with extensive experience in various industries, including real estate, healthcare, and venture capital. As the Founder and CEO of Varuna since September 2023, Ed has developed a platform enabling individual investors to access institutional-grade commercial real estate projects. Previously, as the Founder of Peer Medical, Ed raised $3 million and expanded care for over 10,000 patients through a peer-to-peer medical record sharing platform. Ed also served as a Mentor and Entrepreneur In Residence at 500 Startups, and as VP of Social Products at RealPage, Inc., where successful integration and development strategies were implemented during a merger. Ed's entrepreneurial journey began with founding RentMineOnline, where impressive returns were delivered to investors, followed by roles at DFJ ePlanet Ventures and Bechtel Corporation. Ed holds an MBA from INSEAD and a degree from Duke University.
