Joseph Zhong

Joseph Zhong has a diverse work experience beginning in 2004 with a role as a Math/Reading/SpecialEd Tutor for TAMU Reads & Counts. In 2006, they were a Title Analyst for PFM LLC, Inc. and also an Associate Teacher for YMCA of Orange County. In 2007, they were a Counselor for both CSISD Summer Day Camp and Powersports. In 2009, they were a Field Researcher/Technician and Project Manager for UC Irvine Environmental Process Lab. From 2010 to 2012, they were an Applications Engineer for Para Tech Coating, Inc. and then a Process/Project Engineer for Reverse Medical | Covidien Neurovascular | Medtronic PLC. Since 2019, they have been a Sr Technical Transfer Engineer for Alcon, and in 2022 they will begin a role as a Staff Operations Engineer for Vascular Dynamics.

Joseph Zhong holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from UC Irvine. Joseph also has obtained certifications in Medical Product Development from UC Irvine Extension in March 2019, as well as Operations Management and Marketing from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School.
