Leonid Bunegin

Leonid Bunegin has a diverse work experience spanning several decades. Leonid co-founded Vascular Perfusion Solutions, Inc. in 2022 and currently serves as the Chief Innovation Officer. Prior to this, they held various roles at UT Health San Antonio, including Associate Professor (Tenure) in both the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences and the School of Medicine. Leonid worked at UT Health San Antonio from 1978 to 2021. Before joining UT Health San Antonio, Leonid served as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh's Division of Neurosurgery from 1972 to 1978.

Leonid Bunegin received a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh from 1968 to 1971.
