George R. Axberg III

George R. Axberg III is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology sector, currently serving as the Vice President of the Data Protection Division at VAST Data since October 2021. In this role, George Axberg leads efforts to strengthen VAST Data's market position in Data Protection and Security, while also shaping sales strategies and execution plans. Prior to this, George Axberg spent over 15 years at Dell Technologies, where roles included Managing Director of Global Alliances as well as Senior Director of Sales for Data Protection & Availability, leading extensive teams in executing strategic sales initiatives. George Axberg's career began with positions at ADIC (Quantum) and AGFA Graphics, where expertise in sales and business development in technology and imaging solutions was built.
