Itay Khazon

Itay Khazon is a software professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management. Currently serving as a Software Team Lead at VAST Data since June 2021, Itay focuses on developing innovative RAID and Data Reduction features for all-flash storage systems. Prior to VAST Data, Itay held various roles within the Israel Defense Forces from October 2015 to June 2021, including Project Manager and Software Team Lead. Previous experience also includes a Software Engineer position at Karamba Security, contributing to product innovation, and a Full Stack Developer role at Mouse UX, where Itay worked on web projects utilizing ReactJs, NodeJs, and Python. Itay holds a Master of Business Administration from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
