Jonathan Hays

Jonathan Hays has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Jonathan currently holds the position of Director of Product Management at VAST Data, where they have been working since 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Dell EMC for ten years, starting as a Systems Administrator and IT Manager and eventually progressing to the role of Principal Software Engineer and Manager - Software Engineering. Jonathan also had a role as M&E Pre/Post-Sales during their time at Dell EMC. Before joining Dell EMC, they worked as a Consultant at Atlas Accelerator, Agilent Technologies, and the United States Department of Defense. Jonathan began their career as a Lead Unix Systems Engineer at McLeodUSA and gained early experience as a Systems Administrator and IT Manager at Overstock.com.

Jonathan Hays studied at Everett Community College from 1996 to 1998, focusing on Computer Science. From 2003 to 2006, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Theology at the University of Glasgow.
