Tristan Prejean

Tristan Prejean has held various roles throughout their work experience. Tristan started their career as a Math Tutor at Heritage Academy in 2013 and then worked as a Social Media Marketing Assistant at the University of Maryland Office of International & Leadership Programs. In 2014, they interned as a Mechanical Engineer at Northrop Grumman Corporation and also served as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Maryland Robotics Center. In 2015, they worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at uBoard, LLC and later returned to Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Mechanical Engineering Intern. From 2017 to 2022, they worked at Nanoracks LLC, initially as a Mission Manager, then as a Senior Mission Manager, and eventually as a Program Manager. In 2022, they joined Lunasonde as the Director of Space Operations and was responsible for negotiating launch contracts for the company's satellite constellation. Currently, they are serving as the Associate Director of Business Development at VAST.

Tristan Prejean graduated from the University of Maryland College Park in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Hagerstown Community College from 2012 to 2013 for General Education. Tristan earned their High School Diploma from Heritage Academy in 2013.
