Justin de Swardt

Justin de Swardt is a Research, Development and Governance Specialist at VAT IT Compliance since June 2023, focusing on new product development and decision-support while managing various special projects. Previously, Justin held the position of Junior Tax Associate, overseeing multinational clients' global indirect tax affairs. In 2023, Justin supported the Stakeholder Relations Manager in the Office of the Minister at the Department of Trade and Industry, contributing to reports and presentations. As a Research Assistant and Country Manager for the CoronaNet Research Project, Justin managed an international team and curated a vast knowledge base on public policy. Justin is currently pursuing an Honours degree in Political Science at the University of South Africa, having previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and another in Law from the University of Pretoria.
