Caroline Häggström Marklund

Caroline Payne currently serves as Vice President of Operations in Real Estate Investment Management at Fundrise, a position held since March 2021, where previous experience as Senior Director of Operations in the same field also occurred. Prior to Fundrise, Caroline worked as a self-employed consultant from June 2018 to February 2021, specializing in market diligence for private equity clients in software acquisitions. Additional experience includes a role as Senior Consultant in Strategy and Operations at Deloitte from March 2017 to June 2018, and a decade of service in the US Navy as a Naval Aviator from December 2006 to December 2016. Caroline holds an MBA in General Management from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Caroline received a high school diploma from Lake Braddock Secondary.
