Nir Tzachar

Nir Tzachar is a seasoned expert in machine learning and distributed algorithms, serving as the Chief Scientist and Co-founder of VaultML since January 2015. Prior to this role, Nir worked as a Research Engineer at Final from 2008 to January 2015, where a machine learning framework utilizing big data methodologies was designed and implemented. Nir's academic journey includes research as a PhD student at Ben-Gurion University from January 2004 to October 2008, coupled with a position as a researcher at Deutsche Telekom labs from 2006 to 2008, where a system for early detection of compute threats like viruses and worms was developed. Additionally, Nir contributed to academia as a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University during the same period. The educational background includes a PhD in distributed algorithms from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, completed in 2008.
