Pam de Moor

Pam De Moor has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Pam is currently the Vice President of Formulations at Vaxart, Inc. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of CMC and Device Development at Canopy Biopharma starting in 2018. From 2020 to 2021, they held the position of Senior Director of Formulations and Drug Product Processing at Vir Biotechnology, Inc. Pam also has experience at Novartis, where they held various roles including Senior Process Sciences Lead, Head of Drug Product Development, Basel, Team Head, and Senior Fellow. Earlier in their career, they worked at MedImmune Vaccines as the Associate Director of Solid Formulations and at Alza (Johnson & Johnson) as a Principal Engineer. Pam began their career at Nektar Therapeutics as a Senior Scientist, responsible for process development and measurement of bulk powder properties. Pam started their professional career as a Senior Engineer at Landec Corporation.

Pam De Moor received a BS in Chemical Engineering from Caltech, where they studied from 1981 to 1986. Pam then pursued further education at UCSF/UCBerkeley, completing a joint program in Bioengineering from 1987 to 1994, earning an MS and PhD. Their focus during this program was on Polymer Chemistry, Drug Delivery, Mass Transport, and Controls theory.
