Vu Tran

Vu Tran has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. They began their career at Santa Cruz Biotechnology as a Research Associate, where they focused on antibody purification and analysis. After that, they worked at MedImmune as a Research Associate II, where they were involved in commercial drug product support and evaluation. They then joined Vaxart Inc. as a Supervisor, Analytical Development, where they played a significant role in vaccine, process, and manufacturing development. Subsequently, they worked at IGM Biosciences as an Associate Scientist, specializing in downstream process development and purification. Currently, Vu Tran is employed at Vaxart, Inc. as the Director of Quality Control and previously served as the Associate Director of Quality Control. In this role, they oversee QC analytical testing, manage validation teams, and coordinate with analytical development.

Vu Tran studied at UC San Diego from 1999 to 2002, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
