Daniel Bridges has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities in the software development industry. Daniel started their career as a Software Engineer at Computer Services, Inc., where they developed and maintained critical technical software and databases for banks nationwide. Daniel then worked as a Full Stack .NET Developer at VALiNTRY, consulting for Orangelake Resorts and developing nationwide software.
After that, they joined NTT DATA Americas as a Software Development Senior Consultant, where they developed and maintained technical software and databases for the KY Dept of Environmental Protection.
Following their time at NTT DATA Americas, Daniel moved on to VaxCare, where they took on multiple roles, including Senior Developer, Scrum Master, and eventually Director of Development. In this position, they managed self-sufficient agile teams and facilitated agile implementation for all applications-related development.
Daniel later became the Director of Research and Development, overseeing R&D and coordinating with various business functions and external partners to drive product development. Daniel then became the Director of Product Management and Innovation, leading a team in delivering quality software on schedule. Currently, Daniel holds the position of VP of Product Management at VaxCare, where they are responsible for the product development roadmap and guiding critical decision-making and planning.
Daniel Bridges attended the University of Kentucky from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor's degree in Classics and Classical Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications, including becoming a Certified ScrumMaster through the Scrum Alliance in November 2017. Daniel also holds various Microsoft certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Data Platform (October 2013), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: Windows Store Apps Using C# (July 2013), Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: SQL Server 2012 (April 2013), and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer: Windows Developer 4 (July 2012).
