Bartek Szurgot began their career in 2005 as a software developer at Alfa-Net Communication. Bartek then joined Siemens in 2006, where they worked as a software developer until 2008. From 2008 to 2009, Bartek worked as a Software Developer at Nokia Siemens Networks. Bartek then moved to the Wroclaw Centre for Networking and Supercomputing, where they worked as a C++ developer and system architect on the PL-Grid project from 2009 to 2012. Bartek then joined Credit Suisse in 2012 as a Senior Software Developer until 2013. From 2014 to 2016, they worked at NSN - Nokia Solutions and Networks as a Senior Software Developer. Bartek then joined QIAGEN in 2016, where they worked as a Principal Software Engineer until 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Principal Software Engineer at Vay.
Bartek Szurgot completed their undergraduate education at Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, where they earned a master's degree in engineering with a specialization in IT. Bartek attended this institution from 2002 to 2007. Following their master's degree, Bartek pursued higher education at Politechnika Wroclawska.
