Miranda Evans

Miranda Evans is an experienced mental health and substance use disorder care manager currently working at Vaya Health since January 2023. Prior to this role, Miranda served as a recreational therapist at Pardee UNC Health Care from August 2020 to December 2022 and at Laurel Health Care Company from January 2015 to August 2020, where responsibilities included providing therapy interventions, assessing clients, and supervising departmental functioning. Additional experience includes roles at Pardee UNC Health Care, Broughton Hospital, Success Oriented Achievement Realized Inc. (SOAR), ASPIRE Youth & Family Inc., and Brynn Marr Hospital, where Miranda engaged in therapeutic activities and program development for various populations, including those with psychiatric disorders. Miranda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Recreational Therapy from Western Carolina University and completed a clinical internship in Therapeutic Recreation at Wake Forest Baptist Health.
