Vishal Baid

Vishal Baid's work experience begins with their current role as the Head of Mid-Market Coverage at Vayana Network, which they started in October 2021. In this position, they are responsible for scaling the mid-market book for Supply Chain Finance of various financial institutions and maintaining relationships with these institutions.

Before joining Vayana Network, Vishal worked at Bajaj Finance Ltd from May 2016 to September 2021. There, they were a Deputy Zonal Head and played a key role in setting up and successfully building the Commercial Lending book for the Western Region.

Prior to their time at Bajaj Finance, Vishal worked at ICICI Bank, where they held multiple roles. From November 2011 to May 2016, they were a Relationship Manager. Before that, from April 2008 to October 2011, they served as a Treasury Manager and was responsible for managing treasury-related finance and reporting activities for two leading international branches of ICICI Bank. Their achievements in this role included automating regulatory reports for a leading international regulator and daily profit and loss reporting for all treasury-related activities.

Vishal's earliest work experience was as a Research Analyst at Irevna, a role they held from 2007 to 2008.

Vishal Baid has a diverse educational background. In 2005 to 2007, they pursued a Post Graduate in Management at TAPMI, focusing on Finance and Marketing. Following this, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a CA degree with specialization in Finance, Cost, Taxation, Advanced Accounting, Indirect Tax, and other related fields.

In terms of additional certifications, Vishal Baid has recently acquired Blockchain Basics, Blockchain: Beyond the Basics, and Introduction to NFTs: Non-fungible Tokens from LinkedIn in January 2022.

Moreover, in 2019 to 2020, Vishal Baid enrolled in the Executive General Management Program at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta to further enhance their management skills.
