Dr. Francisco Diaz-Mitoma

Dr. Francisco Diaz-Mitoma has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Dr. Francisco is currently a Member of the Board of Directors at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization. Dr. Francisco was previously the Chief Medical Officer at VBI Vaccines Inc., where they played a crucial role in licensing and registering hepatitis B vaccines and overseeing the clinical development programs for cytomegalovirus and Glioblastoma vaccine candidates. Dr. Diaz-Mitoma also served as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Bowhead Health, a company that provides highly secure health data management services.

Furthermore, they held positions at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine as a Professor, the Northern Cancer Foundation as a Board Member, the Advanced Medical Research Institute of Canada as the CEO and Chief Scientist, and Sudbury Regional Hospital as the VP of Research.
