Kyle McMahan

Kyle McMahan has extensive work experience in the field of systems engineering and network administration. Kyle worked at VC3 from December 2017 to the present as a Systems Engineer II/Network Engineer, where they troubleshooted escalated incidents and requests, configured and deployed various networking devices, and handled network configuration and troubleshooting. Prior to this, they held the position of Systems Engineer I at VC3 from March 2019 to March 2019, providing support to end users for various IT issues and remotely monitoring and administering servers and network infrastructure. Before joining VC3, Kyle worked as an Assistant Manager at O'Reilly Auto Parts from March 2013 to October 2015, where they demonstrated excellent leadership skills, oversaw daily operations, and managed a large team.

Kyle McMahan obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of South Carolina, which they attended from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science degree in Chemistry from Midlands Technical College, where they studied from 2013 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Kyle has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they became a Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA), and in 2018, they earned the CCENT (ICND1) 100-105 certification from Cisco. Kyle'sother certifications include Network+ N10-006 and Security+ SY0-401, both from CompTIA, which they obtained in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Most recently, in 2021, they acquired the Juniper Networks Certified Associate-Junos (JNCIA-Junos) certification from Juniper Networks and the SonicWall Network Security Administrator (SNSA) certification from SonicWall.
