Nick Watts

Nick Watts, MBA, is an experienced Project Manager at VCC Construction since January 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Historic Preservation Officer for the City of Abilene, Texas, where responsibilities involved assisting historic property owners with restoration projects, presenting cases to various commissions and councils, and locating grants for rehabilitation initiatives. Additionally, Nick held the position of City Planner, acting as a key point of contact for site plans, zoning applications, and land development processes, while also contributing to the development of the Abilene Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Planning Intern focusing on the analysis of vacant properties in a designated neighborhood. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from Southern New Hampshire University.
