Patrick Read

Patrick Read has over three decades of experience in the construction and building materials industry. Currently serving as the Vice President General Manager at CRH since December 2017, Patrick also holds the position of General Manager at VCNA Ready-Mix, a role undertaken since April 2012. Prior experience includes significant roles at Extension Software, Inc. as a Business Development Systems Analyst, and as Operations Director at Blue Circle PLC, which was later acquired by Lafarge. Patrick began career as a Financial/Operational Analyst at CEMEX, the world's largest cement producer. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from Purdue University Daniels School of Business.
