Sharad Verma

Sharad Verma has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Sharad currently holds the position of Vice President of Marketing at VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. This is not their first position in this company, as they previously held the same role. Prior to joining VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd., Verma served as the Head of Eicher Sure at VE Commercial Vehicles from 2020 to 2022. Sharad also held the position of General Manager and Zonal Business Head East1 at VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. from 2017 to 2020. Sharad briefly served as the General Manager of Sales, Mining Business at VE Commercial Vehicles in 2017. Verma's career in the automotive industry began at VE Commercial Vehicles Limited (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Joint Venture) in 2006, where they served as the Deputy General Manager of Marketing until 2017. Before joining VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, Verma worked as a Brand Manager at Mahindra and Mahindra from 2004 to 2006. Sharad started their career in 1997 at Ashok Leyland, where they served as an Assistant Manager in Sales until 2004.

Sharad Verma has a diverse education history that includes a PGDBM in Marketing from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta (2002-2004) and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from GEC Jabalpur (1993-1997). Additionally, Sharad Verma completed 10th and 12th grade from K.V 1STC Jabalpur (1983-1991). They have also obtained certifications in Advanced Industrial Marketing Strategy from INSEAD Singapore and in Leadership and Change Management from IIM-Ahmedabad.
