Vishal Mathur

Vishal Mathur has a strong and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles in the commercial vehicles industry. Vishal began their career in 1995 with Larsen & Toubro Ltd as a Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET). Vishal then worked at Eicher Motors Ltd in various roles, including Deputy Manager in Manufacturing and later as an Area Manager in Gujarat and the rest of Maharashtra.

In 1999, Vishal joined Royal Enfield Motors Ltd as a Manager in Quality Control. Vishal then returned to Eicher Motors Ltd and served as a Regional Sales Manager for Heavy Duty Trucks before moving on to VE Commercial Vehicles Limited, a joint venture between Volvo Group and Eicher Motors. At VE Commercial Vehicles, Vishal held the position of Zonal Manager and later became the Vice President of Sales for LMD Trucks.

In 2014, Vishal joined VE Commercials Vehs Ltd and served as their Vice President of Sales for LMD Trucks. Vishal returned to VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd in 2017 and held various leadership roles, including Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for LMD Trucks and Buses. Currently, Vishal is the Executive Vice President of LMD Trucks at VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd.

Vishal Mathur's education history includes a brief time at The Wharton School in 2016 and 2013, with no specified degree or field of study. Vishal then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur from 1990-1995. Prior to that, they attended Maharaja's College in Jaipur from 1987-1989 for 1st year & 2nd year TDC, studying Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Beginning in 1986, Vishal attended Mahaveer School in Jaipur for 11th standard, focusing on PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Maths).
