Zac Dydek

Zachary Dydek is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in the robotics field. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and Director of Autonomous Systems at Vecna Robotics since June 2018, Zachary leads the robotics software team and drives cross-product decision making. Previously, Zachary held the role of Director of Autonomous Systems at Vecna Technologies from September 2015 to June 2018, continuing to guide the robotics software team. Zachary's career began at Vecna, where from September 2010 to June 2015, research and development for robotics was conducted alongside writing and securing government research grants as a Principal Robotics Engineer. Zachary holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, obtained in 2010, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Caltech, completed in 2005.
