Reed Saunders

Reed Saunders has over a decade of work experience. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as an Organizer for SEIU Healthcare 1199NW, where they identified, recruited, and developed rank and file leaders, and led groups of members in union campaigns. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as an Organizer for SEIU 775NW, where they served as an internal organizer on the Leadership Development team, identified and recruited rank and file leaders, and trained members for various tasks. From 2014 to 2015, Saunders worked as a Bilingual Interviewer for Battelle, and from 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Bilingual Information and Resources Specialist for Crisis Clinic. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Ruby on Rails Developer for KeepOnMovin'\u200b. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Ruby on Rails Developer for FlashVote, where they worked remotely and built new features and fixed bugs for several applications. From 2019 to 2020, Saunders worked as a Mentor for Trilogy Education, where they mentored students for Trilogy's Online Coding Bootcamp program. Most recently, from 2020 to present, they have worked as a Backend Engineer for both Vecteezy and Eezy.

Reed Saunders attended The Evergreen State College from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. In 2014, they completed a Ruby on Rails Development Accelerator at Code Fellows.
