Malak Samaan

Malak Samaan is a seasoned aerospace engineer with extensive experience in guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems. Currently serving as a Senior GNC Engineer at Odyssey Space Research, LLC since September 2019, Malak also holds the position of Senior Navigation Engineer at VectorNav Technologies, where the focus is on research and development for INS/GPS sensors and various NASA-funded projects. Previous roles include GNC Research Engineer at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) from June 2008 to August 2014, contributing to missions such as SHEFEX and Asteroid Finder, and Assistant Research Professor at Zarm from 2006 to 2008. Malak's academic credentials include a PhD and MSc in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University, along with postdoctoral research experience at the Spacecraft Technology Center working on key aerospace projects.
