James Leftwich, IDSA

James Leftwich, IDSA has over three decades of experience in Interaction Design and Intellectual Property consultancy. James founded Orbit Interaction in 1992, a broad-based Interaction Design and Intellectual Property consultancy in Palo Alto, California, as a rebranding of Leftwich Design which they founded in 1983. From 2004 to 2007, they served as Director, Design and User Experience at PalmSource, Inc., and then as Chief Experience Officer at SeeqPod, Inc. from 2007 to 2009. James was also CXO - Chief Experience Officer at Jampaq, Inc. from 2009 to 2010, and at Mimvi Inc. from 2010 to 2015. From 2015 to 2016, they were Director UI/UX Design at mPerpetuo, Inc., and then Consultant at Ecomana LLC from 2016 to 2017. In 2018, they became Chief Product Officer at Vector Space Biosciences.

James Leftwich, IDSA, received their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design from the Kansas City Art Institute between 1981 and 1983.
