Francis Ia

Francis Ia is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in security engineering and digital investigative solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Security Engineer at Vectra AI since November 2017, Francis focuses on AI-powered cyber attack detection and response. Previously, Francis held leadership roles at Guidance Software as SE Team Leader for Southern Europe, Benelux, and North Africa, and at Proofpoint as Senior System Engineer for the EMEA region, enhancing enterprise email security. Additional experience includes positions at SonicWALL, AVENTAIL, Radware, and FORE Systems, along with an engineering background at Cegetel and THOMSON - CSF COMMUNICATIONS SA. Francis obtained a Master’s degree in Network & Computing with a focus on network security and computing from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
