Edith Buchinger

Edith Buchinger has a diverse work experience in the field of research and engineering. Edith is currently employed as a Senior Researcher at Vectron Biosolutions AS since 2020. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Ingenieur at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet (NTNU) from 2019 to 2020.

From 2013 to 2018, Edith worked as a Forscher (Postdoktorand) at Norges teknisk-naturvitenskapelige universitet, where they focused on studying intrinsic disordered proteins by NMR and worked with human UNG2 uracil DNA glycosylase.

Prior to that, they held a similar research role as a Forscher (Postdoktorand) at Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main from 2011 to 2013.

Edith Buchinger obtained their Master's degree in Technische Chemie from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz, a school they attended from 2000 to 2007. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemie und Molekularbiologie at Aalborg University, which they completed from 2007 to 2011.
